Archon 24 was a convention held July 7-9, 2000 at the Collinsville Gateway Center & Holiday Inn in Collinsville, IL. The GoHs were Larry Niven, Larry Elmore, Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG), Dana MacDermott, Bruce MacDermott, and Jim Baen. Additional guests may have been Michel (Durland) Burkhart, Laura LeHew, and Judi Cook or Genie Yaffe, Amy Verseman and Dave Verseman -- sources differ.

The toastmaster was Jerry Pournelle, who could not attend due to illness. It was chaired by Michelle Zellich and attendance was about 2000. There was a First Fandom Reunion as a special event.
