Minicon 16 was a convention held April 4-6, 1980 at the Minneapolis Radisson. Guests of Honor: C. J. Cherryh, Jon Singer, Ken Fletcher, Nate Bucklin and Wilson "Bob" Tucker.

The convention did not have a chairman, but was run by an executive committee consisting of Don Bailey, Steven Bond, Scott Imes, and Dave Wixon. The convention's official theme was "Deja Vu."

There was a review of the convention in File 770 21, p. 10.
