(May 9, 1937 – )

Josephine Gail Knuth, an L.A. fan active in the 1960s and ’70s, has been known by several names: “Gail (originally Joey Knuth, then Gail Daniels, then Gail Thompson, before moving to Florida and becoming Gail Whiskin)....”[1]

A member of LASFS since August 25, 1960,[2] she performed with other club members in “Requiem for a Fake Fan” during Pittcon (the 1960 Worldcon) and ran Registration for L.A.con in 1972.

She was married to fans Dik Daniels and Earl Thompson before wedding James Whiskin in 1979, and, apparently, gafiating.
