A slan shack of sorts in the 1960s. After The fourth in a series of slan shacks housing Jack Harness and Owen Hannifen. Established after the moved out of the Labyrinth of Valeron. Only the first of these, Labyrinth, was notably labyrinthine. The Lab Duquesne was a standard four flat, with a living room, dining room, and kitchen in front, and a long, narrow hallway connecting those to the bathroom and bedrooms.
E. E. Smith's Skylark Duquesne is the sequel to his Skylark of Valeron.
