Balticon 16 was a convention held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Baltimore, MD, Easter weekend, April 9-11, 1982. The GoHs were Samuel R. Delany and Michael Whelan, and the FGoH was D. Potter. Janny Wurts was the featured artist.

The co-chairmen were Edie Williams and Pat Kelly. Attendance was around 3000. The convention seems to have had serious problems with parties, with one hotel renting suites for parties, but nor allowing any food or drink to be served in them.

There was a con report by Darrell Schweitzer in File 770 32, p. 1.
