The Best Series Hugo category is a new Hugo category, having been awarded first as a one-time Committee Special Category by Worldcon 75 in 2017, and then starting in 2018 as an ongoing category of the Hugo Awards.

A predecessor was the one-time category Best All-Time Series, which was awarded in 1966.
