Charles Alexander Devine III, a teenaged fan from Boise, ID, was a member of the ISFCC and published the fanzine Pilikia.
He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Walter Breen in Fanac 92 (February 1964): “motives not entirely certain, though speculations by close friends have mentioned girl trouble as primaiy, job and school trouble as relevant.”
