Mike Wallis, a Canadian fan, was OE of TAPA and published the fanzine Just Me. He chaired a number of Ad Astras, Sercon 4 in 1990 and Baycon '92 and co-chaired Spacecon West in 1992–94. He was president of the board of directors of SFSFC for three years in the ConFrancisco period.
He now lives in Sunnyvale, CA. In 1993, he co-founded the Experimental Rocket Propulsion Society and serves as its president and board chair. In correspondence in 2021, he wrote, “I discovered that building rockets was more fun than reading about them and have mostly gafiated.”
