Derrick Ashby is a Melbourne fan. He was OE of QVC and a member of ANZAPA. He was married to fellow fan Christine Ashby. They were on the Melbourne in '85 committee, and organized Smoffcon 1. He ran unsuccessfully in the 1982 DUFF Race.
