Rose Alberti attended the First Worldcon in 1939 with her younger sister, Frances Alberti (who would later marry Triumvir Will Sykora), and their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. Alberti. She also attended Phillycon 1940. She was a member of the QSFL and seems to have been reasonably regular at meetings.
Fantasy News 85 (February 4, 1940) reported that Rose was engaged to Triumvir James V. Taurasi, but we haven’t found any evidence the marriage came off. She married Ralph Barbaro in 1952 and was sometimes called Rosalie Barbaro.
