(Did you mean a Dale Tarr fanzine?)

Science Fiction World (aka Sci-Fi World, SFW and 科幻世界) is the largest circulation prozine in China, headquartered in Chengdu, Sichuan. Founded in 1979, it was originally titled Science Literature; it was retitled in 1991, the year Chengdu hosted the annual conference of World SF: An Organization of SF Professionals.

SFW Publishing, the publishers, were owned by the Chinese government but became independent in 1984. The magazine established the annual Galaxy Awards in 1985.
