Richard James Bleiler, an American bibliographer based in Connecticut, wrote the The Annotated Index to The Thrill Book about the history of the magazine and numerous other works of SF reference. He was nominated for the Bram Stoker Award for Best Non-Fiction in 2002 and for the Munsey Award in 2019.

He is the son of Everett F. Bleiler.
