A club (originally announced as the Medway Science Fiction Fan Club) formed in August 1952 in Gillingham, Kent, UK by Tony Thorne and Jeanne Thorne. Other members included Ron Tripp, Len Smith, Brian Lewis, and Stuart Conley.

Their clubzine was The Medway Journal. In November 1953, they ran the Medcon. The club lasted until about 1960.
