Ron Tripp was a British fan likely from the Gillingham area active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Medway Science and Fantasy Club and attended the Medcon in 1953 where he was one of the people credited with 'electronics'. A local newspaper described him as 'obviously an "ideas man" who collaborates with the chairman in schemes to put forward to members who then try to pull them to pieces as impracticable.'
He worked in electronics at the Ministry of Supply.
