A club in Portland, OR. Its clubzines were STRANGE, PUNS and The Can Opener. The Portland Society of Strangers had a barricade, complete with sf library, at the Park Blocks during the 1970 student strike at Portland State University. The club put on a series of conventions called Norwesterncon, ca. 1971-1973.
