Anokon 1, a Minn-Stf Fallcon, was held September 22-24, 1978 at the Holiday in in Anoka, MN. The Guests of Honor were Bob Tucker (for sure) and Rusty Hevelin (probably.)

Minn-Stf had previously called its Fallcons, "Minicon" (hence Minicon 5 and Minicon 9) and had intended to call this one "Minicon 14" but decided not to for some reason. But they had already advertised Minicon 15 for the next spring, so they just skipped Minicon 14 -- until a few years later when they decided to fill in the gap...

This was basically a relaxacon.
