Archon 24 was a convention held July 7-9, 2000 at the Collinsville Gateway Center & Holiday Inn in Collinsville, IL. The GoHs were Larry Niven, Larry Elmore, Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG), Dana MacDermott, Bruce MacDermott, Jim Baen, Michel (Durland) Burkhart, Laura LeHew, and Judi Cook. The toastmaster was Jerry Pournelle, who could not attend due to illness. It was chaired by Michelle Zellich and attendance was about 2000. There was a First Fandom Reunion as a special event.
