PNRB was a monthly publication devoted to "intelligent writing about books; speaking fro a Northwest perspective." It was not an SF publication, though it was staffed largely by fans.

The editor was John D. Berry, the publisher was Loren MacGregor. Also involved were Susan Wood, Paul Novitski, Jeff Frane, Jerry Kaufman, Doug Barbour and Jane Hawkins. Berry left later in 1978.

A pilot issue (#0) was published around the beginning of 1978.
