Cornwall is a county in the extreme south-west of England. Being a long way from everywhere else, at least in British terms, it's never hosted a convention.
Douglas Slack was resident in the county when he was briefly active in the 1940s.
Adrian Cook lived there in the mid-60s when he published three issues of Warlock.
Archie and Beryl Mercer moved there in 1970 at which point 'we stopped being a fannish focal point' (letter to Then).
Current fan residents of Cornwall include Doug Bell and Christina Lake.
