NASFiC 12, NorthAmeriCon '17, was a carpetbagger convention held July 6–9, 2017, at the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Guests of Honor: Daína Chaviano, Tobias S. Buckell, Guy Consolmagno, screenwriter Javier Grillo-Marxuach, comics artist George Perez, Paula Smith.
Attendance was smaller than expected, with an estimated 200 onsite attendees out of around 575 members.
