A Westercon bid sponsored by Futures Unbounded and run by Bruce Pelz and Chuck Crayne. It defeated a semi-serious Tijuana in '69 bid by Bill Rotsler and Earl Kemp for Tijuana, Mexico at site selection held at the 1968 Worldcon which was also the 1968 Westercon. See 1969 Westercon Site Selection.
