FantaSci 2022 was a convention held March 25–27, 2022, in Durham, NC. The GoH was to be Eric Flint, but in early March, the con chair Joel Lyons announced that he would not be able to attend "due to circumstances beyond his control […] Since we are so close to FantaSci 2022, the ConCom has decided to keep Mr. Flint as FantaSci 2022 Guest of Honor in Absentia. Thanks to the willingness of our Lifetime Guests Mark Wandrey and Chris Kennedy, we have been able to cover any gaps in programming." (Flint died in July.)
The Music GoH were the Dimensional Riffs. There were also Special Guests: Stephanie Osborn, Dr. Charles Gannon, Faith Hunter, and Taylor Anderson (not listed online, possibly couldn't attend?), further Guests, not to mention "Lifetime Guests of Honor" (beside above-mentioned Wandrey and Kennedy also David Weber, all with their spouses).
