James Van Hise is a genre author who writes about film, television, and comic history.
In the 1970s he created and edited the Star Trek fan magazine Enterprise Incidents; during the 1980s and 1990s, he wrote numerous reference guides to the show.
He currently sells genre books, magazines, and fanzines from his home in Yucca Valley, California.
