BW is a fanzine by Claire Brialey and Mark Plummer. It is a separate publication from their Banana Wings although that is often abbreviated to 'BW' too, suggesting they didn't really think it through.

In original conception it was a fanzine that could be printed from a single ream of A4 paper meaning each issue had a print run of a little under 100 copies depending on how many sheets were lost to paper jams. Early issues were dated but not numbered, a source of some embarrassment now to at least one of its editors.

Its fourth issue was a double-size, the two ten-page sections bound back-to-back Ace Double-style. #8 was a resurrected electronic-only version produced for the online Punctuation convention.

The editors view the title as on hiatus, a contention that becomes less tenable as more time passes.
