James Edward 'Renny' Rennison was a British fan from Blackburn in the 1940s. He pubbed the fanzines Cosmos and Trivia, distributed with Futurian War Digest. He was a member of the British Fantasy Society and was nominated for its advisory board where he was the only candidate to secure unanimous approval, a result that seemingly provoked him to resign his membership of the Society.

In the 1945 Directory of Anglo-Fandom his name is marked with an X, indicating 'his connection with fandom is known to be finally severed'.
