Windycon 33 was a convention held from November 10-12, 2006 at the Wyndham O'Hare in Rosemont, IL. Guests of Honor: Jack McDevitt, Stephan Martiniére, Seth Shostak, Jacob Weisman, Mark Olson, Priscilla Olson. Toastmaster: Tom Smith. Chair: Pat Sayre McCoy. The con had the theme "First Contact."
The ISFiC Writers Contest winner was "Ad Alienos," by P. R. Gomez.
The ISFiC Press book was Outbound, by Jack McDevitt.
