He "instigated" the Baltimore in '98 Worldcon bid, was Balticon's Gaming Czar, was a member of the BSFS Board of Directors, and was honored as Ghost of Honor at Balticon 44. Along with Inge Heyer he founded BWSMOF. He was an editor of BSFan.
