Mike Zaharakis (aka Raki) was a fan active mainly in the 1960 and ’70s. He became a fan while stationed in the Air Force in Minot, North Dakota, where he married Dian Zaharakis. In Portland, Oregon, he was a founder of the Society of Strangers science fiction club. He was a member of ValAPA, TAPS, and the N3F, at one time serving on the N3F Directorate. He later moved to California, where he died.
