Merrit]] and [[Clakrk Ashton Smith]]) and with [[fans]] such as [[Allen Glasser]] and [[Julius Schwartz]].  His correspondence is now at the University of Idaho.  Being distinctly older than most fans, he did not have much direct involvement with New York Fandom.
