Bob Farnham was a fan from Chicago, and later Georgia, who was a long-time member of the N3F and the SFG, but wasn't very well-known outside of it. He volunteered in the N3F Correspondence Bureau.

He attended several Worldcons, including Chicon II in 1952, and sold a few stories to Ray Palmer's prozines. With Nan Gerding, he co-edited the fanzine The Chigger Patch of Fandom.

Not long after his death, Billy Pettit announced that he was collecting material for a memorial fanzine.
