Dennis William Etchison was an American writer and editor of fantasy and horror fiction.
He served as president of the Horror Writers Association from 1992 to 1994, and the Association recognized him with its Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
A tribute by Jon D. Swartz appeared in the Summer Issue, 2019 (New Series #60) of Scientifiction.
