Gene Melzack is a fan originally from the UK and later from Australia active from the 2000s. He is one of the original members of Third Row Fandom.
He was one of the editors of the BSFA's critical journal Vector during 2006-2007 and was co-editor with Alisa Krasnostein of the Ditmar Award-winning ASif! Australian Speculative Fiction In Focus.
