Archon 23 was a convention held July 9–11, 1999, at the Collinsville Gateway Center & Holiday Inn in Collinsville, IL. The GoHs were Gardner Dozois, Ray VanTilburg, Jillian Bakke, John Brooks, Donna (Sutton) Bakke, Susan & Jeff Stringer, Decipher. The toastmaster was Forrest J Ackerman, attendance was 1,891, and it was chaired by Michelle Zellich.
