The Royal York is a sprawling hotel in Toronto, Canada which was the site of two Worldcons and a Smofcon. During Torcon II it was still unairconditioned, the weather was hot, and its endless sweltering corridors were memorable. It is located at the edge of downtown and next to the Toronto Convention Centre.
