Balticon 40 was a convention held Memorial Day weekend, May 26-29, 2006 at the Marriott Hunt Valley in Hunt Valley, MD. The GoHs were Neil Gaiman, Gene Wolfe, Lisa Snellings-Clark & Lorraine a' Malena.
The chairman was Nora Wright.
Maria V. Snyder won the Compton Crook Award for Poison Study. The previous year's winner was Tamara Siler Jones.
