The 2017 FAAn Awards were presented April 20, 2017 by Administrator Murray Moore at Corflu 34 in Los Angeles. There were 36 voters and Suzle Tompkins acted as vote count auditor.
Nominations were by the voters on the 2016 FAAn Awards. There was a bit of controversy this year when Administrator Moore did not use the usual preferential ballot, but instead directed votes to vote for a single choice in each category. He also allowed write-ins.
