A Canadian fan living in the Toronto area who chaired the Toronto in 2003 bid committee and the resulting Worldcon, Torcon 3. He has worked on a number of other conventions (including chairing Canvention 13) and well as administering the Aurora Awards. He founded the Dr. Who Society in 1984 which is now the Metro Science Fiction Society. He is married to fellow fan Athena Jarvis. He was CUFF winner in 2007.
