Toby C. 'Tobes' Valois is a fan from Jersey in the Channel Islands who found fandom in 1993. He stood for TAFF twice, first in 2000 and again, and winning, in 2002. Claire Brialey and Mark Plummer published Tobes Stole My Brain in support of his candidacy and a TAFF report, Tobes TAFF Ting[1] featured 'his own confession "extracted by torture" in a dramatic two-hour event at the 2005 UK Eastercon'.

He was on the committee of Helicon 2 in 2002.
