Gary Hubbard, a Michigan fanzine fan, active since the 1960s, published Scuzmothre in the 1970s. He has been a fairly prolific fanwriter. He writes a peripatetic column, “The Cracked Eye,” which has appeared in BeABohema, Syndrome, Outworlds, Trap Door, Portable Storage and other zines, and was selected for Fanthology '87.

He was a member of the N3F.
