A Milwaukee club founded as the Milwaukee Science Fiction League in early 2021 by Eric Hildeman. It operated at first mainly as a Facebook group, beginning with two meetings in summer 2021 (one live, with about three attending; one online). Covid-19 significantly interfered with Hildeman’s plans to launch the group.

Although Hildeman explicitly excluded fantasy in the beginning, in October 2023, he changed the club name to the Milwaukee Science Fiction & Fantasy League.

Hildeman also does a weblog and a fancast on behalf of the group, both called Starship Fonzie. All tend to have a mostly media-oriented bent. Hildeman has designs on starting up a new convention in Milwaukee, Milwaukee Falcon.

232 people had joined the Facebook group as of October 2023, but activity is quite low. They meet in person every second Thursday at Nicky Migz Place (formerly known as Binary), 9105 W. Lincoln Ave, West Allis, WI, and often have a Zoom option for those who cannot attend in person.

The club, of course, has no affiliation with the historic Science Fiction League.

Club 2021
This is a club page. Please extend it by adding information about when and where the club met, when and by whom it was founded, how long it was active, notable accomplishments, well-known members, clubzines, any conventions it ran, external links to the club's website, other club pages, etc.

When there's a floreat (Fl.), this indicates the time or times for which we have found evidence that the club existed. This is probably not going to represent the club's full lifetime, so please update it if you can!
