Charles Sykora and Anna Sykora signed the register as attendees of Nycon 1, the first Worldcon, as "Mr & Mrs C. Sykora." They were accompanying their son, Will Sykora, who was one of the triumvirate of con heads, and daughter, Frances Helen Sykora.

Will would later marry Frances Alberti, another Nycon 1 attendee, and Frances would later marry Mario Racic, Jr., another of the Worldcon organizers.
