Australian fan who found fandom in 1971 and is married to fellow fan Jean Weber. He was on the bid committee for Aussiecon 1, Aussiecon 2, and Aussiecon 3. He has been a member of the Sydney Science Fiction Foundation and the Futurian Society of Sydney.
His fanzines include Gegenschein, Trip 78, Jean and Eric 'Avalook at the UK (his GUFF trip report), I Know I Owed You a Letter in 1997, Trip, AussieCon First Draft Report, Sitting on the Steps of the NY Public Library, Reading Between the Lions, Close Encounters of Lizards at Aussiecon, and Crazy Eddie Newsletter.
He was also a member of FLAP and Mishaps.
