The Con Committee included a number of ex-MUSFA members and like MUSFA conventions it did not have a chair, but had a somewhat amorphous leadership, which sometimes worked and sometimes didn't. For example, the person who opened the convention did so because he had not gone to lunch with the GoHs as had the rest of the committee. Service was slow, so when it was time to open the Con there was only one committee member present...and an expectant crowd.
