Windycon XXVI was a convention held from November 12-14, 1999 at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL. Guests of Honor: Kristine Kathryn Rusch, Dean Wesley Smith, Steven Vincent Johnson, Mitchell Burnside-Clapp, Chaz Boston Baden. Toastmaster: Barry B. Longyear. Chair: Rick Waterson. ISFiC Guest: Christian Ready. The ISFiC Writers Contest winner is "Passing Through," by Sharon L. Nelson.
