Minicon 19 was a convention held April 1-3, 1983 at the St. Paul Radisson. Guests of Honor: Larry Niven, Pamela Dean, David Dyer-Bennet, Dave Sim, Spider John Koerner, Steven K. Zoltan Brust, and Nostradamus.
The convention did not have a chairman, but was run by an executive committee consisting of Don Bailey, Steven Bond, Scott Imes, Mark Richards, and Caryl Dixon. Its theme/slogan was "Backward, Into the Future."
There was a blizzard.
It's not completely clear why Minicon 19 followed Minicon 14 and was succeeded by Minicon 18.
