Steven Karl Zoltán Brust is an American SF and fantasy author. He is best known for his series of novels about the assassin Vlad Taltos, one of a disdained minority group of humans living on a world called Dragaera. His recent novels include The Incrementalists (2013), with co-author Skyler White.
He was one of the founders of Fourth Street Fantasy convention and lived in the Courts of Chaos. He was originally part of the bands Cats Laughing, and Albany Free Traders, as well as the writing group, The Scribblies. He has worked many Minicons and was on the Executive Committees of Minicon 14 and Minicon 34.
