Jeremy G. Byrne, an Australian fan, was a founder and co-editor of Eidolon, administrator of the eidolist and Australian SF website sf.org.au. He began his fannish career in Perth and later moved to Melbourne.

He was a member of the committee that ran The Festival of the Imagination in 1992.

By early 2023, his sf.org.au site had become unavailable, impacting websites for WASFF, the MSFC, and a wiki that had hosted eligibility lists for the Ditmar Awards. The site was back, to some extent, by the end of 2023.
