Genre artist Dell Harris was born in Oktaha in Oklahoma and now is back there. He is tall, standing head and shoulders above others, which makes him easy to spot in a crowd at a convention.
His acrylic paintings and pencil pieces appeared in many Amazing and Analog magazines as well as quite a few book covers including Robert Silverberg's Across a Billion Years
In the 1990's Dell mostly left SF and began branching off into 2-D and 3-D computer art for game projects as well as mainstream design.
