APASITION was a bimonthly apa founded by Jay Kinney in 1979 for the discussion of politics. Will Straw was the first official editor. Membership was limited to 20. APASITION was intended to be a private apa, "not to be shown to non-members. Since some of the discussions may be somewhat sensitive, both personally and politically, this privacy seems to make sense." (prospectus for APASITION or APA-P, 1/16/79). Six mailings were distributed in 1979.
