(1) A Term of Fanspeak[edit]
A fannish term for unwanted household junk which just seems to accumulate. The story goes that after someone told the old joke Q: "Do you like Kipling?" A: "I don't know, I've never kippled," Terry Carr was asked what "kipple" was and replied that it was household junk and piles up. It caught on. Note that this has nothing to do with collecting, a noble fannish pursuit.
(2) A Fanzine by Ted Pauls[edit]
A fanzine published by Ted Pauls with a focus on politics and a large letter column.
Roger Ebert contributed an article, "Fanac of J. Alfred Trufan", to it.
